Behind-the-Wheel Instruction

Call/text or email our office before purchasing your private lessons package.

  • Students must purchase 5 one-hour private lesson package.
  • All five lessons must be completed within 90 days of initial payment.
  • Prior to beginning private lessons, student's experience behind the wheel will be discussed.
  • Each lesson will be conducted on a pre-designated route. After each lesson, the student will receive feedback for practice driving.
  • The first drive will be held at LCC - Main Campus. We will meet in parking lot B, under the solar panels.
  • Subsequent drives can begin at LCC Main Campus, Springfield High School or South Eugene High School, dependent on student skill level and instructor schedule.
  • All drives take place within Eugene/Springfield city limits.
  • Driving lessons will be conducted in a plug-in EV Hybrid dual-controlled vehicle.
  • Students will be required to take their drive test at the DMV or another 3rd party provider.
  • Be Safe Driving School does not offer the DMV drive test.

  • Private lessons are purchased in a package of 5 one hour lessons for $375
  • If the student wants to purchase additional driving lessons, after the first 5, they can purchased in one hour increments for $75 per hour.
  • Current times available are
    • Mondays thru Thursdays
    • 9:30 am - 1:30 pm
